Another attempt at Wordle in a Minute or less – handicapped by a tricky starting word

  1. Got it in three with a lucky second guess, atone, lever, every.

  2. Mark’s opening word streak currently:

ANKLE BRAIN CHEST DIGIT ELBOW FEMUR GROIN HEART ILEUM JOINT KNEES LIVER MOUTH NAVEL OVARY PUPIL QUADS RECTI SPINE THUMB UVULA

    Theme: 5-letter body parts, alphabetically

Ah, the less-joked-about V body part. Maybe VEINS could work? The VAGUS is one of the brain nerves, it interfaces with the heart, lungs and digestive tract. Other then those, I can’t think of anything else besides the other funny one

  3. I didn't even knew uvula is a word 😂 dang you're doing great

  4. "Hope there is a word with the 'v' other than the one I'm thinking of." 😂

  5. Vulva is a beautiful word, and it's about time the internet shows me one.

  6. Quite the tricky word. Starting with a vowel and then repeating it.
    OLDER – REACH – STERN – FIERY – EVERY

  7. What about VOICE for V? Not necessarily a body part on its own, though…

  8. It's funny, the one you're thinking of uses all the same letters as the word you started with today. How about VELUM?

  9. I love these little videos, Mark. Thank you.

  10. Yep. This one was easy. I went haute, dicer, merry and every.

  11. CHORD -> STARE -> FERRY -> EVERY

Sorry, Mark, but you made your own bed by starting a "body part" theme! That said, the comments have offered up some nice alternatives. I'm partial to VOMER, myself.

  12. Gotta be VEINS because the letters are useful; a near-anagram of UVULA is just as inconvenient a starting word as today's was. Then WRIST. My "good" starting word was pretty useless today — shirt, alone, fudgy, berry, and finally figured out it had to be every. Got there in the end but without the patented Goodliffe aplomb.

  13. Mark’s opening word streak currently:

ANKLE BRAIN CHEST DIGIT ELBOW FEMUR GROIN HEART ILEUM JOINT KNEES LIVER MOUTH NAVEL OVARY PUPIL QUADS RECTI SPINE THUMB UVULA

    Theme: 5-letter body parts, alphabetically

    Tomorrow's word: VAULT

  14. I got this one in 2: VOMIT > EVERY 🥳🎈🎉🥳
Tomorrow, I vote for veins. Seems like a helpful starting word, even if a plural will never be the final answer. Delores Mulva won't be the final word either, so why not? 😁
Great job getting to EVERY from UVULA, Mark! V is a lovely letter, especially when it shows up green. 👏👍(No, that wasn't a vomit reference, just a genuine compliment)

  15. VOMER is the nose bone 😅

VELUM and VAGUS tie for second place for me with a boring VEINS coming in fourth…
