Mark continues trying to get Wordle done in sixty seconds or less – with the second of three linked starting words.

  1. I tried SPIED and SPIER before SPIEL. I should've put more sweat into my guesses, eh? 😅 But the back of my mind still says PARER was a verb form, so it thinks anything is possible.Ah well, very much enjoyed the 10 seconds it took you to solve that one, Mark! 😊😊

  2. Started with SPORT yesterday. Lucky first guess. Got SPIEL in two.

  3. very excited about the race between 3 and 5 guess solves
    rooting for 3s of course

  4. Wordle 490 3/6

    ⬛🟨⬛🟨🟨 DENIS
    🟩🟩🟩🟨🟨 SPILE
    🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 SPIEL

  5. I could've gone with a whole list of other words but this felt like such a Wordle word, and it was.
    PHONE – SPIEL

  6. Went with your favorite TIGER to start, and then got lucky with SPIEL. Thanks for the influence, Mark!

  7. Got this pretty fast as a joke guess, didn't know it's an English word but I knew it's German

  8. Siren proved to be a great starting word for this one. Got it in 2.

  9. I didn't even know SPIEL was considered being an English word and I still got it in 3 with TRAPE -> SPEND -> SPIEL. 🙂

  10. I'm on a run of more 5s than 3s at the moment. Blend>Stale>Soles>Shiel>Spiel

  11. I got the green S and yellow E and L by guess two but it took me three guesses to get the E and L to the right places. Then it took staring at the puzzle for three minutes to figure what the heck the other two letters were because nothing was coming to mind.

  12. I was a bit surprised, did not think that this would qualify as an English word. But eventually it was the only possibility! Thanks for the video, Mark.

  13. Bro my dad got this one in 1!! He was pulling up wordle on his phone and right below the link that he clicks on, there was an article saying “Wordle hint October 22” and the thumbnail for it was the word SPIEL but it was all grayed out, and my dad thought that was a good starting word, not thinking it would actually be correct

  14. Oh what an interesting coincidence, my first word was HEART, but my second and third were SPIKE and SPIEL as well! Always fun watching your attempts, Mark.
