After a couple of flukes lately, how’s Mark’s luck today … ?

47 Comments

  1. It's kinda funny to think about how "Jelly" would actually have given Mark quite a lot with the green LL 😀

  2. I forgot to do today's Wordle so it wasn't Hello, but Goodbye to a 163 day streak 😢😢😢🤗

  3. 5 guesses for me
    Snake -> Tried -> Below -> Jello -> Hello

  4. I love how it loops back to an immediate "Hello!"

  5. Don't cut it too early, I wanna see the race beetween the 3s and 5s 😅

  6. Mark’s opening word streak currently:

    TRUST DOUBT THEIR TIRED BEING

    Theme: The 5-letter words from “If—“, a poem by Rudyard Kipling

    ABOUT is the next 5-letter word in the song, but it has also appeared earlier in the song, and was skipped for some reason. It’s weird. If not ABOUT, HATED is the next one

  7. I wondered how Mark would treat the HELLO , but he didnt really mention it that much. I wish he had gone for JELLY as it was not a word I though of but would have got three greens and on to the 4 solve race !

  8. i got it on the luckiest second guess 😀 also i love that it's literally the first word he always says in these videos

  9. The 3's finally caught up to the 5's again!! Congrats! 😁

  10. I started with HEFTY, and after that there are surprisingly few options. Got it in two.

  11. I always tend to go with the less likely option first since "hello" feels like the kind of word that's been used before. But I was wrong.
    BLANK – MOTEL – CELLO – HELLO

  12. BEING-LEAST-WELCH-HELLO. Good job to Mark for pulling this off in 3! Next up should be ABOUT.

  13. Hello! Good solve Mark. This one confused me a bit so I got a 4. Fresh>Whine>Ethyl>Hello

  14. Starts with the correct solution, then immediately gets side-tracked 😛

  15. I just cannot get it in 3. 4 two days straight.
    ⬜⬜🟨⬜⬜STERN
    🟨🟨⬜⬜🟨LODGE
    ⬜🟩🟩🟩🟩CELLO
    🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩HELLO

  16. I had a choice between HELLO and CELLO and picked the wrong one.

  17. 🎉 Well done Mark – Like that the opening word of the video also was the answer 😂

  18. Did New York Times pick this word because of Mark? He starts every video with this word. And he's got to be good for their puzzles popularity.

  19. CHAOS -> BROTH -> HOPED -> HELLO

    Another surprising last second finish! Incredible, Mark!

  20. I'm happy that you're experiencing this level of madness, Mark 🙂

  21. I tried cello and jello before hello 🤦‍♂️

  22. SPARE -> BLEND -> JELLY -> HELLO (After blend I did actually narrow that down to being probably jelly or hello and I only thought of hello because I also thought of jello 🤣 I was wondering if there might be some other _ELLY word I wasn't thinking of though so I did jelly first.)

  23. How does one go from Recap, out of a clear blue sky, to Hello??

  24. Got there eventually 🙂

    🟨⬛⬛⬛⬛ EARNT
    ⬛🟩⬛⬛⬛ PESKY
    ⬛🟩🟩⬛🟨 BELCH
    🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 HELLO

  25. Unfortunately I did try xELLY first even though HELLO was in mind, so another 4 for me

  26. I suppose it's true to say that Mark has never stated (and never again will state) the answer faster than this video.

  27. After BEING and RECAP, my third word was DELVE. And my fourth probably would have been JELLY. 😂

  28. sHOwn->OcHrE-HOtEL>->HELLO
    I got in 4, but today's WIM 3 was magical.

  29. Blatant cheating confirmed. Just tell us it's entertainment or magic. But problem solving it's not

  30. I love that you refused to use JELLY, and that led you to the answer.
    Must be fun looping this in short format. 😛
    See you tomorrow!!

  31. I laughed out loud at this one. BEING, RECAP, "need another vowel, no, not JELLY, that's not a good guess" — and I'm saying "yes, guess that, it'll give you really good information" — and then the Angel On Mark's Shoulder has a better idea. I don't know why these are so much fun to watch, but they really are: thanks, Mark!

  32. I follow the channel and this series in particular and I got this in one because of your intro. Cheers Mark!
